Review: A Dance With Dragons

A Dance With Dragons
A Dance With Dragons by George R.R. Martin

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really appreciate the continued growth and change of characters in the world of Ice & Fire. These people feel real. It is such a unique take on the Fantasy genre, as normally I don't enjoy this genre. The political intrigue that takes place is like anything you'd see during the times of the Roman Empire, or the Court of King Henry the 8th. The inner struggles and constant conflict that the characters work against is engaging. No one is guaranteed victory as life weighs in the balance. I have enjoyed each book, but this one the most. A must read series.
