The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I really enjoyed this book. The funny thing is I'm not sure why. This is not a typical fantasy novel of high stakes and sorcery. I really appreciated how the author used certain scientific laws to temper his sorcery and create a more physical law based world. Those who know about the Laws of Thermodynamics, Quantum Entanglement and The Law of Conservation of Mass would find his take quite interesting. A fun read, without the tropes of the genre. I just found myself reading and reading and always engaged.
